Services

Joint Replacement

Arthroplasty (Hip and Knee) is a surgical procedure that restores the function of a joint. This procedure may be recommended when the toll of cartilage damage in your knee or hip joints leads to debilitating pain that affects your mobility and everyday life. This intricate surgical procedure, often suggested for arthritis sufferers, can be a transformative step towards reclaiming your well-being. Before considering surgery, we investigate conservative treatments such as medication and physical therapy, ensuring that every avenue for improvement is explored. However, when necessary, arthroplasty offers a ray of hope, unlocking a multitude of benefits and the potential for a vastly improved quality of life.

CONDITIONS:

  • Hip and knee arthritis
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Rheumatoid arthritis of the hip and knee
  • Requiring hip and knee replacements
  • Robotic assisted joint replacements

Revision Arthroplasty

When it comes to joint replacement surgeries, most procedures are met with success. Nevertheless, there are instances where a revision may become necessary, particularly if the initial implant exhibits signs of wear or infection. When the functional integrity or stability of a joint replacement deteriorates, it can profoundly impact your day-to-day life. At such times, seeking timely intervention is advised for a return to a fulfilling, pain-free life.

Orthopaedic trauma

Orthopaedic trauma refers to serious injuries to the skeletal or muscular system caused by external forces, ranging from falls to car accidents. Although not always life-threatening, these injuries possess the potential to be profoundly life-changing. It is imperative to seek expert medical attention immediately to ensure the best possible outcome and recovery.

CONDITIONS:

  • Ankle and wrist fractures
  • Hand and feet injuries
  • All broken bones excluding spine and skull
  • Injuries requiring surgery or fixing broken bones

Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that allows a surgeon to examine and treat the inside of a joint using a small, flexible tube called an arthroscope. Within the expertise of OrthoJoints, we offer arthroscopic procedures for knee, hip conditions. This ensures the treatment of your condition and the optimization of your postoperative recovery. Our comprehensive array of surgical tools exemplifies our commitment to your well-being. We are proud to have all of the necessary instruments to provide you with the highest calibre of safe and effective surgical care.
